Midwich Security to hold course introducing the basics of IP networking

The first in a programme of training courses will take place on July 19th 2012 in Crowthorne, Berkshire

Midwich Security has created a training programme designed to develop installers’ understanding of IP technology, allowing them to enter the security market or further expand their business. The first of these one-day courses held in Berkshire will be the Basics of IP Networking on the 19th July; an Introduction to Surveillance and the Basics of IP Surveillance will take place later this year.

One-Day Basics of IP Networking course
Level: Beginner to Intermediate
Duration: 1 day, 19th July, 10:00am - 2:00pm
Course Fee: Reduced price of £99 JULY ONLY, normally £175

Overview and course content
This is a theory based course suitable for all network based services including IP Video surveillance, AV, print, Pro-audio and access control. The course is designed to give a general understanding of the terms used within the networking environment. There is an array of equipment available throughout the training facility which can be demonstrated at the end of the course.

Who is this course for?
Our Basics of Networking course is aimed at anyone wanting to gain an understanding of the terminology used within a networking environment. Suitable for both technical and non-technical members of the team interested in IP and for anyone who speaks to customers on IP elements as part of the sales process. No previous knowledge of networking is required.
